How to register through
the mail
-
Get an official mail registration
form. You can get one at the county courthouse, post offices, state
stores, public libraries, The League of Women Voters, other public
offices or by contacting LCDC officials.
-
Read the instructions very carefully
and complete the whole form.
-
Seal it, add the stamp and drop in the
US Mail.
-
The county will send you a notice that
your application is being processed. If you don't get one of these
within 10 days after sending it in, contact the county office.
-
After the county registration
commission accepts your application, they'll send you a wallet-size
card that says you're registered to vote.
